So Far This Week
What a week it has been. I've been
missing in action for several days now. This will be a shortened
version of WSS.
On Saturday I came home from a 4 day
trip to the hospital. I had a chain reaction of issues that put me
in the ER.
It's a long story and I'll just share
the basics of what happened to me. I was taking a medication for one
issue and the side effects of that medication irritated my stomach
and caused an ulcer to bleed. It was an ulcer that they say had
already been there, and most likely bleeding very slowly and this is
why I was not aware of it.
Three days after starting the medicine
I passed out due to the blood loss and was rushed to the ER. I had 4
blood transfusions during my 4 day stay and had the ulcer cauterized.
I'm now recovering from blood loss
anemia and doing better day by day. Gaining a little more strength
each day. So that is good. But, it's going to take time to get back
to normal.
I'm thanking and praising God I'm still
alive as my blood numbers were nearly in the critical stage. My
husband and children are also so grateful for God's mercy in this
situation.
On My To-Do List
Rest, sleep, do a
little here and there, rest and sleep some more. :)

DeleteToday, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a
ReplyDeletesea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but
I had to tell someone!
Ha, ha.. too cute!! Thanks for sharing!! :) Crystal :)
