Grocery Haul for Two

Good morning from the PNW! Todays post will be a short one. I only had to make one grocerry stop.

I didn't need anything from Costco this week so it was a quick trip to Winco:

I was out of fruit so I picked up the regular bananas, apples and oranges. But I still had a lot of fresh veggies in my fridge and only needed some greens for salads and a bag of mini peppers.

For dairy I picked up milk, half & half and some ice cream.

And finally it was cereal, sunflower seeds for salad toppers and some ground beef....

$2.08 per pound is good price around here. I still have hamburger in the freezer so I only grabbed 3 pounds. I divided it up into 1# packages and put it in the freezer.

Grand total for this week: $30.00

That's all for this weeks Grocery Haul for Two!

  1. That's a good price! I spent $80 for 8 days for my family of 5. Not too bad. I still have a lot stocked up. Trying to be very frugal this month! Katie

    1. Hi Katie! $80 for 8 days for a family of 5 is wonderful! I too have been using a lot from my pantry which helps. I will have to restock eventually so it's a give a take, which is why I aim for a weekly average. Last year it was $110 and this year I'm trying for $100 or less would be good too! :D Wish you the best on keeping your month frugal.
