There is a stand pipe under the dock for drainage. It can be removed, which my husband does each year to be able to clean out debris that has fallen in over the winter. The stand pipe is put back on and the pond refills. So there is a fresh supply of water coming into it all the time. The pond was not something we put on our property. It was here when we moved in.
